Do you enjoy working with geriatric patients? Do you understand the difference between providing acute care and long-term care? Do you enjoy helping residents with their medically related social services and assisting with scheduled activities?
If so, we look forward to discussing our LTC Social Services Designee / Activity Aide position with you! Our ideal candidate is compassionate, optimistic, dedicated, empathetic, a team player, a good communicator, and understands the unique needs of geriatric patients.
This position is Full Time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Call rotation is required.
Minimum educational requirements include a high school diploma or its equivalent and satisfactory completion of a training course for Social Services Designees approved by the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS). Social work or related degree preferred. 2 years of experience in a social or recreational program approved by KDADS within the last five (5) years, one of which was full time in an elder activity program in a health care setting.
